CVE-2026-9561
•
published on July 14, 2026
Eclipse Kura versions prior to 5.6.2 trust the client-supplied X-Forwarded-For HTTP header as the authoritative source of the client IP address in audit log entries. The org.eclipse.kura.web2 (Web Console) and org.eclipse.kura.rest.provider (REST API) components use this header as the primary IP source when initializing audit context, and org.eclipse.kura.jetty.customizer unconditionally installs Jetty's ForwardedRequestCustomizer on all HTTP/HTTPS connectors, causing HttpServletRequest.getRemoteAddr() to reflect the attacker-controlled header value. An unauthenticated remote attacker can exploit this vulnerability to bypass IP-based brute-force protections — such as fail2ban — by spoofing the logged IP address to a non-routable value, allowing a brute-force attack to proceed undetected, or to cause a denial of service against a third party by injecting a victim's IP address and triggering a ban on that address.

CVE-2026-9547
•
published on July 3, 2026
When a libcurl-based application performs transfers via `SCP://` or `SFTP://`
and utilizes the `CURLOPT_SSH_KEYFUNCTION` callback, it may silently accept an
untrusted server. This vulnerability occurs when a server presents a host key
type that does not match the specific key type already recorded for that host
in the `known_hosts` file. Instead of rejecting the mismatch, the callback
mechanism fails to properly enforce the restriction, allowing the connection
to succeed without warning and risking a potential man-in-the-middle attack.

CVE-2026-9538
•
published on May 26, 2026
Archive::Tar versions before 3.10 for Perl allow memory exhaustion via attacker controlled entry size field in tar header.
_read_tar() reads each entry's payload with $handle-read($$data, $block), where $block is derived from the entry's 12-byte size field in the tar header with no upper bound on that value.
A crafted header declaring a multi-gigabyte size causes Perl to allocate a scalar of that size.

CVE-2026-9508
•
published on May 29, 2026
Incorrect permission settings on a critical resource in Suprema BioStar 2 (versions 2.9.3 through 2.9.11) that allow backup files to be publicly exposed when the administrator configures their path within the NGINX webroot. This vulnerability allows an attacker with network access to directly download backup ZIP files via ‘http(s)://[server]/download/…’ without requiring authentication. This exposes highly sensitive information that can lead to server impersonation, unauthorized access to databases, and lateral movement.

CVE-2026-9507
•
published on June 16, 2026
A session fixation vulnerability has been identified in osTicket v1.18.2. This security flaw allows an attacker to hijack a victim’s account by keeping the initial session identifier (OSTSESSID) active after a successful login.
The issue lies in the fact that the application does not invalidate the pre-authentication cookie or generate a new identifier for the authenticated context. As a result, if an attacker manages to set a known session identifier in the victim’s browser, they will be able to maintain unauthorised access to the account once the victim has authenticated.
