CVE-2026-9076
•
published on June 9, 2026
Issue summary: When CMS password-based decryption (RFC 3211 / PWRI key unwrap)
processes attacker-supplied CMS data, an attacker-chosen stream-mode KEK
cipher can trigger a heap out-of-bounds read in kek_unwrap_key().
Impact summary: A heap buffer over-read may trigger a crash which leads to
Denial of Service for an application if the input buffer ends at a memory
page boundary and the following page is unmapped. There is no information
disclosure as the over-read bytes are not revealed to the attacker.
The key unwrapping function performs a check-byte test as specified in the
RFC that reads 7 bytes from a heap allocation that is based on the wrapped
key length from the message. There is a minimum length check based on the
block length of the wrapping cipher. However the cipher is selected from
an OID carried in the attacker's PWRI keyEncryptionAlgorithm with no
requirement that the cipher be a block cipher. When an attacker selects
a stream-mode cipher the guard will be ineffective and the allocated buffer
containing the unwrapped key can be too small to fit the check-bytes
specified in the RFC and a buffer over-read can happen.
Applications calling CMS_decrypt() or CMS_decrypt_set1_password()
(equivalently openssl cms -decrypt -pwri_password ...) on untrusted CMS
data are vulnerable to this issue. No password knowledge is required: the
over-read happens during the unwrap attempt before any authentication
succeeds.
The over-read is limited to a few bytes and is not written to output, so
there is no information disclosure. Triggering a crash requires the
allocation to border unmapped memory, which is unlikely with the normal
allocator.
The FIPS modules are not affected by this issue.

CVE-2026-9073
•
published on June 23, 2026
A flaw was found in foreman-mcp-server. This component utilizes two distinct logging mechanisms that can expose sensitive session and authentication data. One mechanism logs session identifiers, which are treated as authentication credentials, at an informational level. The other, when debug logging is enabled, incompletely sanitizes HTTP request headers, leading to the cleartext logging of sensitive information such as authorization tokens and API keys. This vulnerability can result in a confidentiality breach, as sensitive authentication data is persisted in plain text within container logs, increasing the risk if logs are forwarded to a centralized platform.

CVE-2026-9067
•
published on June 10, 2026
The Schema & Structured Data for WP & AMP WordPress plugin before 1.60 does not check user capabilities on its frontend AJAX file-upload handlers and does not validate the actual content of uploaded files against the endpoint's intended media type, allowing unauthenticated users to upload any file type accepted by WordPress's media library through endpoints that should only accept images or videos.

CVE-2026-9059
•
published on May 20, 2026
NextGEN Gallery version prior to 4.2.1 are vulnerable to authenticated SQL injection via the 'orderby' parameter on the REST API endpoints '/imagely/v1/galleries' and '/imagely/v1/albums'.
The root cause is an insufficient sanitization function ('_clean_column()') in the data mapper layer that uses a character blacklist instead of a whitelist approach. This allows an authenticated attacker with the 'NextGEN Gallery overview' capability (assigned to the Administrator role by default) to inject arbitrary SQL into the 'ORDER BY' clause.

CVE-2026-9058
•
published on May 25, 2026
For untrusted certificates that contain the "Authority Information Access - caIssuers URI" extension, Szafir SDK will automatically download the parent CA certificate from the specified URL and will import it to its trust store as a "nonqualified" certificate. In such a case, Szafir SDK returns a success status code of 0 ("Positively verified") upon successful cryptographic verification and a certificate status of "nonqualified".
For other types of untrusted certificates, Szafir SDK returns a success status code of 0 ("Positively verified") upon successful cryptographic verification and a certificate status of "nondetermined".
This may lead integrating applications to incorrectly treat the digital signature as valid despite an untrusted certificate chain. This flaw enables authentication bypass and user impersonation:
(1) in use-cases other than qualified certificate authentication, or
(2) if the qualified certificate authentication use-case is not correctly implemented by the integrating application.
This issue was fixed in version 1.8.463.2.

The Slider Revolution plugin for WordPress in versions 6.0.0-6.7.55 and 7.0.0-7.0.14 is vulnerable to unauthorized modification of data. This is due to the plugin not properly verifying that a user is authorized to perform an action. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with Contributor-level access and above, to deactivate any active plugin installed on the site.

CVE-2026-9021
•
published on July 9, 2026
The Easy Invoice plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Missing Authorization in versions up to, and including, 2.1.19. This is due to the plugin registering the easy_invoice_accept_quote and easy_invoice_decline_quote AJAX actions via wp_ajax_nopriv_ hooks and relying solely on a quote-scoped nonce that is rendered into the publicly accessible single quote template, combined with an ownership check that is gated behind an off-by-default Pro option (easy_invoice_pro_restrict_quote_to_client). This makes it possible for unauthenticated attackers to accept or decline arbitrary published quotes — and, depending on the configured accept action, automatically convert them into invoices (and even email them to the client) — by harvesting the per-quote nonce from the public quote page and submitting it to admin-ajax.
