CVE-2026-6245
•
published on April 15, 2026
A flaw was found in the System Security Services Daemon (SSSD). The pam_passkey_child_read_data() function within the PAM passkey responder fails to properly handle raw bytes received from a pipe. Because the data is treated as a NUL-terminated C string without explicit termination, it results in an out-of-bounds read when processed by functions like snprintf(). A local attacker could potentially trigger this vulnerability by initiating a crafted passkey authentication request, causing the SSSD PAM responder to crash, resulting in a local Denial of Service (DoS).

CVE-2026-6241
•
published on June 5, 2026
An authenticated format string vulnerability is present in the ONVIF AddScopes in Tapo C520WS v2, where user-controlled input is improperly passed to formatting functions without adequate sanitization. An attacker can inject format specifiers into ONVIF scope parameters to manipulate memory handling behavior.
Successful exploitation may cause the ONVIF management service to crash, resulting in DoS condition that impacts normal device operation.

CVE-2026-6238
•
published on April 28, 2026
The deprecated functions ns_printrrf, ns_printrr and fp_nquery in the GNU C Library version 2.0.1 to version 2.43 fail to validate the RDATA content against the RDATA length in a DNS response when processing A6, CERT, LOC, TKEY or TSIG records, which may allow an attacker to craft a DNS response, causing a target application to crash or read uninitialized memory.
These functions are for application debugging only and hence not in the path of code executed by the DNS resolver. Further, they have been deprecated since version 2.34 and should not be used by any new applications. Applications should consider porting away from these interfaces since they may be removed in future versions.

CVE-2026-6237
•
published on May 12, 2026
The Quick Table plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Stored Cross-Site Scripting via the 'style' attribute of the 'qtbl' shortcode in all versions up to, and including, 1.0.0 due to insufficient input sanitization and output escaping on user supplied attributes. This makes it possible for authenticated attackers, with contributor-level access and above, to inject arbitrary web scripts in pages that will execute whenever a user accesses an injected page.

CVE-2026-6203
•
published on April 13, 2026
The User Registration & Membership plugin for WordPress is vulnerable to Open Redirect in versions up to and including 5.1.4. This is due to insufficient validation of user-supplied URLs passed via the 'redirect_to_on_logout' GET parameter before redirecting users. The `redirect_to_on_logout` GET parameter is passed directly to WordPress's `wp_redirect()` function instead of the domain-restricted `wp_safe_redirect()`. While `esc_url_raw()` is applied to sanitize malformed URLs, it does not restrict the redirect destination to the local domain, allowing an attacker to craft a specially formed link that redirects users to potentially malicious external URLs after logout, which could be used to facilitate phishing attacks.

CVE-2026-6180
•
published on May 5, 2026
A race condition exists in PaperCut MF when processing badge-swipe data from certain HP multifunction devices. Under specific network conditions involving dropped packets and out-of-order sequence counters, the server may incorrectly process fragmented data chunks. If a sequence reset notification fails to reach the server, the server may reject the initial data chunk while erroneously accepting subsequent chunks before a connection reset completes.
This leads to the registration of a truncated badge ID string. While this typically results in an authentication failure, the vulnerability is compounded in environments utilizing custom badge-ID post-processing scripts. In such configurations, the truncated string may be transformed into a valid ID belonging to a different user, leading to unauthorized session establishment (Incorrect User Login) on the device.

CVE-2026-6146
•
published on May 11, 2026
Amazon::Credentials versions through 1.2.0 for Perl uses rand to generate encryption keys.
Amazon::Credentials stores credentials in an obfuscated form to prevent access to the secrets from a data dump of the object.
Before version 1.3.0, the secrets were encrypted using a 64-bit key that was generated using the built-in rand function, which is predictable and unsuitable for cryptography.
